BOSTON - A federal appeals court has reversed a trial court and reinstated a family's claims against Raytheon alleging injury from the mother's workplace exposure to beryllium. Genereux v. American Beryllia Corp., et al., No. 07-2676 (1st Cir.).

The 1st Circuit Court of Appeals ruled on July 29 that there is, at this stage, a question as to whether Suzanne Genereux's claims were untimely and whether Raytheon is protected by the sophisticated user defense.
