Opening Brief Due Sept. 9 in Appeal of $2.42 Million Miss. Verdict

NEW ORLEANS - Defendants appealing a $2.4 Million verdict reached by a federal jury in Mississippi in March 2008 are to file their opening brief by Sept. 9, according to an amended schedule issued by the U.S. Court of Appeal for the 5th Circuit. Jowers v. Airgas-Gulf States Inc., et al., No. 09-60396 (5th Cir.).
