ATHENS, Ga. - A woman suing her late husband's employer for wrongful death has been ordered to admit or deny industry standards that will be relied on by defendants, including exposure levels set by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration and the American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists. Christian v. Janed Enterprises Inc., et al., No. 3:08-CV-88 (M.D. Ga.).

Judge Clay D. Land of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Georgia said the plaintiff cannot merely assert a lack of technical expertise, but must "make a reasonable inquiry," including soliciting the assistance of her experts if necessary.
