OAKLAND, Calif. - The surviving family members of a California man whose personal injury case was one of the first resolved in the state's coordinated silica proceedings have brought wrongful death claims against numerous defendants. McClarty v. Lone Star Industries Inc., et al., No. RG08420736 (Calif. Dist. Ct., Alameda Cty.).
The lawsuit, filed April 7 in Alameda County Superior Court, seeks more than $25 million in damages for the death of Eugene McClarty Sr., who passed away on May 16, 2008.
