Philadelphia Silica Trials to Get Underway in September

PHILADELPHIA - A Pennsylvania judge has set trial dates for 44 silica cases, beginning this fall and extending through the end of 2009. In Re: Silicosis Litigation, No. March 2003-0001 (Pa. Ct. Comm. Pls., Philadelphia Cty.).

In a case management order filed May 29 in Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas, Judge Sandra Mazer Moss created timelines for groups of plaintiffs who will have their cases heard each month beginning in September.
