Calif. Parties Propose Trial Candidates

OAKLAND, Calif. -- Parties involved in the California welding fume products litigation have each submitted 10 proposed trial candidates in accordance with the sixth case management order. In re: Welding Products Cases, No. JCCP004368 (Calif. Super. Ct., Alameda Cty.).

Before naming their proposed plaintiffs in the Dec. 1 filing in the Superior Court for Alameda County, the defendants reiterated their position that random selection is the "only method by which a representative cross-section of plaintiffs can be selected."

The defendants' list included George Beasley, Ernest Becerra, Jack Gorman, Robert Gutierrrez-Rojo, Christian Jordan, Mitchell Miranda, Shawn Moore, Steven Nawman, Stephen Panagotacos …
