18 Plaintiffs Move for Voluntary Dismissal from Welding Fume MDL

CLEVELAND - Just days after two new cases are transferred to the federal Welding Fume Products multi-district litigation, the judge overseeing the federal Welding Fume Products Litigation allowed 18 plaintiffs to voluntarily dismiss their actions. In Re: Welding Fume Products Liability Litigation>, No. 1:03-CV-17000 (MDL Case No. 1535) (N.D. Ohio).

Judge Kathleen M. O'Malley of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio issued the order dismissing the cases without prejudice on March 9.

Most of the cases withdrawn were filed in the past two years, but two of the cases date to 2004: Ernest Herridge (1:04-cv-17146) …
