6th Circuit Consolidates Appeals in Tamraz

CINCINNATI - The 6th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals has consolidated TDY Industries' appeal of a $2.5 million verdict with that of other defendants for purposes of briefing and filing a joint appendix to augment the record. Tamraz v. Lincoln Electric Co., et al., No. 08-4015; Tamraz v. TDY Industries Inc., No. 08-4016 (6th Cir.).

TDY and The ESAB Group Inc., Hobart Brothers Co. and Lincoln Electric Co. filed a joint motion to consolidate on Oct. 29 in which they noted that TDY has reserved a distinct challenge based on product identification.
