RALEIGH, N.C. - The North Carolina Court of Appeals said an industrial commission considering health claims by office workers summarized or repeated adverse witness testimony rather than make findings of fact and must reconsider the claims. Huffman, et al. v. Moore County, et al., No. COA08-128 (N.C. Ct. App.).
The appellate court also noted that 10 years have passed since the claims for fibromyalgia and multiple chemical sensitivity were first made, "and in the intervening years the medical community may have gained a greater understanding of these conditions.
