Mississippi Family Files Wrongful Death Action Against Silica Sand Distributors

JACKSON, Miss. — The family of a Mississippi sandblaster and ironworker who died from lung disease has filed a wrongful death action against 19 silica industry defendants and up to 500 “Does,” alleging that his death was caused by workplace exposure to crystalline silica.
