CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas - A Texas judge has denied motions by Centocor Inc. seeking a new trial and remittitur in the case of a couple who won a $19.4 million verdict after jurors found that the company defrauded consumers and negligently failed to warn about potential side effects of Remicade. Hamilton, et al. v. Centocor Inc., et al., No. 03-60526-4 (Texas Ct. at Law No. 4, Nueces Cty.).
