NEW ORLEANS - The Plaintiffs' Steering Committee for the federal Vioxx MDL has renewed its motion to implement a procedure for the rapid remand of near "trial ready" cases, stating that the conditions and points of opposition set out by the court and Merck & Co. Inc. one year ago have been met and any further delay is unreasonable. In Re: Vioxx Products Liability Litigation, MDL No. 1657 (E.D. La.).
