NEW ORLEANS - Merck & Co. Inc. has moved to strike the class allegations in plaintiffs' federal Vioxx MDL medical monitoring master complaint, claiming that legal and factual variations would render individual state class actions, and much less a nationwide class action, unmanageable and unfair.
