Expert Witness Lists Disclosed for First Calif. Vioxx Trial

LOS ANGELES - In preparation for California's first-ever Vioxx trial, plaintiff and defense counsels have disclosed their respective expert witness lists for the case or cases scheduled to be tried beginning June 21. Vioxx® Cases, JCCP No. 4247 (Calif. Super. Ct., Los Angeles Cty.).

The identity and number of cases that will make up the first trial in California's coordinated Vioxx proceedings remain uncertain, but plaintiffs and Merck & Co. Inc. on April 21 went ahead and filed their expert witness lists in the Los Angeles County Superior Court.
