ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. - A New Jersey state judge has postponed the trial of a man who claims his long-term use of Merck & Co. Inc.'s arthritis drug Vioxx caused his heart attack, but another Vioxx trial is still scheduled to begin June 5. In Re: Vioxx Litigation, Case No. 619 (N.J. Super. Ct., Atlantic Cty.).

Judge Carol E. Higbee of Atlantic County Superior Court issued an April 28 order adjourning the trial in the case of John and Rhonda Klug, Klug, et ux. v. Merck & Co. Inc., No. ATL-L-633-05, saying the trial will be rescheduled at a later …
