SAN FRANCISCO - Four Alabama physicians have renewed their motion to be dismissed from a Celebrex lawsuit pending in California's Bextra and Celebrex MDL, claiming they were fraudulently joined to the suit. In Re: Bextra and Celebrex Marketing, Sales Practices and Products Liability Litigation, MDL No. 1699 (N.D. Calif.).

The doctors' March 2 motion, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, states that the case at issue, Dabbs, et al. v. Pfizer Inc., et al., No. M:05-cv-1699, was removed by Merck & Co. Inc. on June 3 from Alabama's Circuit Court of Jefferson County to …
