HOUSTON - A team of plaintiffs' attorneys has assembled around the nation in an effort to steer litigation involving Vioxx away from federal court, recent reports and filings in the Vioxx MDL indicate.
According to published reports, the so-called plaintiffs' counsel 'Dream Team' includes some 10 law firms and 350 attorneys whose chief objective is to commence numerous Vioxx trials simultaneously in state court rather than in federal court, where the vast majority of claims are currently pending.
