WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation (JPML) has entered an order transferring nearly 31 cases alleging injuries caused by Bextra and Celebrex to a single federal judge in California, HarrisMartin Publishing is reporting. In re Bextra and Celebrex Marketing, Sales Practices and Products Liability Litigation, MDL Docket No. 1699 (JPML).
According to an order released by the JPML on Sept. 7, one docket involving personal injury and sales and marketing claims related to the arthritis drugs will be overseen by Judge Charles R. Breyer of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
