First Federal Vioxx Trial Nov. 28, Stroke Case to Follow

NEW ORLEANS - The first federal Vioxx case to be brought before a jury will be tried in New Orleans beginning on Nov. 28, sources close to the litigation told HarrisMartin Publishing. In Re: Vioxx Products Liability Litigation, MDL No. 1657 (E.D. La.).
Judge Eldon E. Fallon of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana announced the trial setting on Aug. 2.
