MDL Judge Says Vioxx Remand Motions to be Dealt With As a Group

NEW ORLEANS - The judge overseeing the Vioxx MDL has indicated that pending motions to remand filed in some of the hundreds of product liability claims now before him will be 'dealt with' as a group. In Re: Vioxx Products Liability Litigation, MDL No. 1657 (E.D. La.).

In a Minute Entry released April 28, Judge Eldon E. Fallon suspended briefing and cancelled a scheduled hearing on a motion to remand that had been filed in one of the cases that was transferred recently to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.
