MINNEAPOLIS - A woman who claims Vioxx contributed to development of a deep vein thromobosis in her left leg and a pulmonary embolism in the right main pulmonary artery in November 2000 is opposing Merck's motion for judgment, claiming that her suit is not barred by the statute of limitations. Glover v. Merck & Co. Inc. No. 03-5166 (D. Minn.).

Carolyn Glover also argues in her May 27 reply to the Vioxx manufacturer's motion that Minnesota law should apply to the case, rather than Illinois law, because the statute of limitations is a procedural issue.
