FORT WORTH, Texas - A federal judge granted the defendants' motion for bifurcated discovery and stayed all non-causation related discovery proceedings until the parties agree as to whether the plaintiff can provide enough evidence to support her claims that Enbrel caused her to sustain multiple injuries. Randa Hahn v. Amgen, Inc., et al. No. 03-CV-855-Y (N.D. Texas, Fort Worth Div.).
U.S. District Judge Terry Means' Dec. 17, 2003, order stated that the plaintiff must submit by March 12 affidavits from one or more qualified medical experts who will proffer admissible scientific evidence supporting causation.
