AIKEN, S.C. - Attorneys for a South Carolina man who blames his wife's death on Remicade have reached agreement with Centocor and other pharmaceutical company defendants on delineating and protecting confidential documents during discovery. Huff v. Centocor Inc., et al., No. 04-1279 (D. S.C.).
Judge Margaret B. Seymour of the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina signed the stipulated order on Sept. 17.
The order allows the parties to redact trade secrets or information required to be kept private under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA), but requires that such information be described …
