PALM BEACH, Fla., - A Florida woman recently filed a wrongful death suit against the manufacturer of Vioxx claiming that the arthritis drug caused her husband to suffer a fatal heart attack. Evelyn Irvin, as Personal Representative of the Estate of Richard Irvin, Jr., v. Merck & Co., Inc., et al., No. 2003-CA005251AB (Fla. Cir. Ct., Palm Beach Cty., 15th Judicial Cir.).
