ARTICLE: 'Infliximab in the Treatment of Psoriasis in Patients Previously Treated with Etanercept'
JOURNAL: Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology 2007 Jul;57(1):120-5
SUMMARY: This retrospective study of 19 patients treated with infliximab for severe psoriasis who had previously been treated with etanercept found that infliximab was effective. However, the majority of patients required infusions every six weeks to maintain their continued response, and the use of infliximab was associated with a possible increased incidence of adverse events.
