Judicial Panel Creates Centralized Docket in Illinois for Federal Testosterone Replacement Therapy Lawsuits

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation has issued an order consolidating all federal lawsuits alleging cardiovascular injuries caused by testosterone replacement therapy products.
In an order released June 6, the JPML transferred approximately four dozen cases to Judge Matthew F. Kennelly in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, where a majority of the cases are pending against manufacturers of the products. In doing so, the panel also changed the name of the newly established docket to In re: Testosterone Replacement Therapy Products Liability Litigation to reflect the inclusion of cases involving all testosterone …
