WASHINGTON, D.C. — Plaintiffs seeking consolidation of numerous lawsuits alleging injuries caused by testosterone therapy products have asked the Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation to assign the MDL docket to a judge recently appointed to the federal bench in Pennsylvania.
In a May 21 supplemental brief, the plaintiffs noted the JPML’s recent suggestion that the bar’s “younger generation” be included among those assigned to leadership positions in the various federal MDL proceedings, and that the same consideration should be made for recent judicial appointments who have never been assigned to preside over an MDL.
