FRESNO, Calif. — A 53-year-old California man who says he was healthy prior to initiating a six-month regimen of Axiron has sued the manufacturer of the testosterone replacement therapy alleging that it led to his diagnosis of congestive heart failure.
In a complaint filed May 16 in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California, plaintiff Jonathan Scott accuses Lilly USA Inc. and Eli Lilly Co. of concealing the health risks associated with Axiron, while fraudulently misrepresenting that the product was a safe and effective method for raising his testosterone levels.
