PHILADELPHIA — A Georgia couple has filed a lawsuit in Pennsylvania against Endo Pharmaceuticals and United Kingdom-based Prostrakan Group seeking compensatory and punitive damages for injuries allegedly caused by the prescription testosterone therapy Fortesta.
In a May 8 lawsuit originally filed in Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, Laves and Demetric Taylor allege that the defendants hid risks associated with Fortesta, ultimately leading to Laves Taylors’ bilateral pulmonary thromboembolism and severe hypoxia.
The case, which was removed to U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania on May 12, alleges that Taylor was prescribed Fortesta by a physician who relied …
