PORTALES, N.M. - The parents of a boy who suffered a stroke after taking Dimetapp have sued the product's manufacturer alleging the company should have warned consumers about the apparent link between the phenyloproponalomine (PPA) contained in its product and stroke. Dillon, et al. v. American Home Products, et al., No. D-0911-CV-02002 (N.M. Dist. Ct., Roosevelt Cty.).
