PHILADELPHIA - A Philadelphia trial court has overruled preliminary defense objections to a lawsuit seeking to recover economic damages on behalf of a proposed class of consumers who purchased PPA-containing products and have not suffered personal injury, after finding each of the plaintiffs' claims legally sufficient for the purposes of the objection. Weiler, et al. v. SmithKline Beecham Corp., No. 2422 (Pa. Ct. Comm. Pleas., Philadelphia Cty.).
