WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation has created a centralized docket for all federal claims alleging injury caused by the heart drug Digitek. In Re: Digitek Products Liability Litigation, MDL No. 1968 (JPML).
According to an order entered Aug. 13 by the JPML, eight cases spread out in six federal districts will be transferred and consolidated in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia.
Plaintiffs in three of the cases moved for centralization in California, Florida, Kansas, Louisiana, New Jersey, Ohio and the Southern District of West Virginia. While defendant Mylan Inc. conceded …
