LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - A federal judge has ruled that testimony supporting a link between breast cancer and short-term use of hormone replacement therapy should not be excluded as insufficient under Daubert. Hill v. Wyeth, et al., No. 05-546 (E.D. Ark.).
Judge William R. Wilson Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas said Aug. 7 that the supporting data, based on the Million Woman Study, has not been challenged as unreliable by defendants and should therefore be presented to jurors.
