TRENTON, N.J. - New Jersey state court lawsuits alleging injury caused by gadolinium-based MRI contrast agents have assigned to a single judge for centralized management. In Re Gadolinium-Based Contrast Agents Litigation, Case Code No. 279 (N.J. Super. Ct., Middlesex Cty.).
According to a notice issued April 11 by Acting Administrator of the Courts Philip S. Carchman, the state Supreme Court has considered comments made in the wake of a Jan. 30 application to coordinate the cases, and has assigned all such claims to the state's mass tort program.
