Jury Adds $27.12 Million in Punitives to HRT Verdict




LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - A federal jury has determined that the makers of two hormone therapy replacement drugs acted with malice and reckless disregard in their failure to warn a woman that the products could cause breast cancer. Scroggin v. Wyeth, et al., No. 04-1169 (E.D. Ark.).
