WASHINGTON, D.C. — Coloplast Corp. has asked the Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation to consolidate and transfer all federal cases involving its pelvic mesh devices to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia for coordinated pretrial proceedings. In re Coloplast Corp.’s Pelvic Support Systems Products Liability Action, MDL No. 2387 (JPML).
In a June 5 filing, Coloplast asserts that the 13 pending actions should be centralized pursuant to U.S.C. Section 1407 because they involve common questions of fact and common issues and transfer would advance the just and efficient conduct of the cases. They further argue …
