Judge Refuses to Certify 3-State Fosamax Class Action

NEW YORK - A federal judge has rejected an attempt by plaintiffs to certify three state-wide medical monitoring classes for Fosamax users who claim they are at an increased risk of developing osteonecrosis of the jaw (ONJ) as a result of taking the drug. In re Fosamax Products Liability Litigation, Nos. 06-6295; 07-1946; 06-9456 (S.D. N.Y.).
