Statewide Docket Proposed for Aredia and Zometa Claims in N.J.

TRENTON, N.J. - An application has been made to create a statewide coordinated docket in New Jersey for all litigation involving the osteoporosis drugs Zometa and Aredia. Application to Designate Litigation Involving the Drugs Zometa and Aredia as a Mass Tort, No. n/a (N.J. Sup. Ct.).
According to a notice filed Oct. 29 in the New Jersey Supreme Court, the application seeks designation of Zometa and Aredia litigation as a mass tort for centralized management before Judge Jamie D. Happas in the Middlesex County Superior Court.
