Judge Dismisses HRT Case After Excluding Causation Experts

MINNEAPOLIS - Wyeth has been awarded summary judgment in a breast cancer case after a judge determined that the plaintiff's experts failed to link the disease to her nearly 20 years of hormone replacement therapy use. Zandi v. Wyeth, et al., No. 27-CV-06-6744 (Minn. Dist. Ct., Hennepin Cty.).
Hennepin County District Court Judge George F. McGunnigle dismissed Wyeth with prejudice in his Oct. 22 order that followed the exclusion one week earlier of Patricia A. Zandi's two specific causation experts.
