$134 Million Verdict in Nevada HRT Case Reduced by $100 million

RENO, Nev. - A Nevada jury has reduced its compensatory damages verdict by $100 million for three women awarded $134 million last week on claims they developed breast cancer allegedly caused by Wyeth's Prempro and Premarin hormone replacement drugs. McCreary, et al. v. Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, et al., No. CV04-01699 (Nev. Dist. Ct., Washoe Cty. ).
