Drug Maker Urges Accutane Plaintiff to Pursue Claim Against Doctor




TAMPA, Fla. - Failure-to-warn claims alleged in a lawsuit filed by the mother of a 17-year-old boy who killed himself while taking Accutane should be directed at the boy's physician, not the company that manufactured the drug, according to a reply brief in support of summary judgment filed recently in the case. Stupak v. Hofmann-La Roche Inc., et al., No. 05-926 (M.D. Fla.).
