Hearing Scheduled on Motion to Coordinate 'Growing' Mirapex Claims

WASHINGTON, D.C. - A federal panel will hear argument in May on a motion filed by manufacturers of the drug Mirapex to coordinate before a single judge the growing number of cases filed by individuals who claim they were harmed by the drug. In re: Mirapex Products Liability Litigation, No. n/a (JPML).
According to an order issued April 12 by the Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation, a hearing on the motion to transfer 58 federal Mirapex cases to one of about a half dozen federal courts will take place May 31 in Las Vegas.
