BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Defendants named in a Ketek injury suit contend in a recent court filing in Alabama that the plaintiff cannot establish that the case belongs in state court because the only non-diverse defendant is a doctor who currently resides in a federal prison for her role in falsifying data used to develop a safety profile for the antibiotic.
