LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - Jurors have returned a defense verdict in the second federal case to go to trial over Prempro hormone replacement therapy. In re: Prempro Products Liability Litigation, No. 03-1507; Rush v. Wyeth, et al., No. 05-497 (E.D. Ark.).

Jurors returned the verdict for Prempro maker Wyeth Inc. on Feb. 15, determining that plaintiff Helen Rush failed to prove that the company inadequately warned of a link between Prempro and breast cancer.

Rush sued Wyeth after developing breast cancer, which she said was caused by her ingestion of Prempro. However, jurors disagreed, concluding that nothing Wyeth did in …
