First Prempro MDL Trial Ends With a Defense Verdict

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - The first Prempro MDL case to proceed to go to trial has ended in a defense verdict after a three-week trial in which the plaintiff alleged injuries from Wyeth's hormone replacement therapies. Reeves v. Wyeth. No. 4:05-cv-00163; In re: Prempro Products Liability Litigation. MDL No. 4:03-cv-1507 (E.D. Ark.).
The U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas jury reached the verdict late Friday after four days of deliberations.
