TRENTON - The surviving mother of a child who committed suicide at age 11 is suing Forest Laboratories, claiming that her daughter's death was caused by the company's Lexapro antidepressant. Simmons v. Forest Laboratories Inc. No. 06-3328 (D. N.J.).
Jolie Simmons, individually and as personal representative for her deceased daughter, Rachel K. Caddy, sued Forest Laboratories Inc. on July 21 in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.
