MIDLAND, Texas - A Texas woman is appealing a trial court's order denying her motion for a new trial, claiming that an erroneous charge misled the jury in her case against Wyeth for alleged Pondimin-related heart valve injuries. Geers v. Wyeth. No. 7:03-cv-107 (W.D. Texas).

On May 9, Patricia Geers notified the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas that she was appealing to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit Judge Harry Lee Hudspeth's order denying her motion for a new trial.
