BOSTON - Eight plaintiffs recently sued AstraZeneca for unspecified injuries they say they suffer as a result of consuming the manufacturer's Seroquel antipsychotic drug. Andrew, et al. v. AstraZeneca, et al. No. 1:06-cv-10709 (D. Mass.).
Mellisa Andrea, Lori Carroll, Judy Daniel, Jillian Dollarhide, Melissa M. Ehlert, Michelle A. Grogan, William R. Grosse and Marie Murph-Jones sued AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals and KBI Sub Inc. in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts on April 21, claiming Seroquel (quetiapine fumarate) caused them "severe, permanent and disabling injuries and related damages."
