Philadelphia Jury Awards $392,300 to Four Diet Drug Plaintiffs

PHILADELPHIA - A Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas jury awarded a total of $392,300 to four plaintiffs in the first phase of their trial against Wyeth for alleged diet drug injuries. Talbot v. Wyeth. No. 040203187; Thacker v. Wyeth. No. 040203174; Vigil v. Wyeth. No. 040203090; Williams v. Wyeth. No. 040203100, (Pa. Ct. Common Pleas, Philadelphia Cty.).

Suzan Talbot was awarded $109,100 and Sharon Thacker received $88,700. The jury awarded Ernestine Vigil $90,400 and $104,000 to Jorie Williams. The second phase of the trial was scheduled to begin March 27.
