BEAUMONT, Texas - A Texas jury recently found for Wyeth in the case of a woman who sued the company for injuries allegedly caused by the company's Pondimin diet drug. Roork v. Wyeth. No. E169993 (172nd Jud. Dist. Ct., Jefferson Cty.).
At the conclusion of plaintiff Gail Roork's trial, which began March 8, 11 of 12 Jefferson County 172nd Civil District Court jurors voted 'no' to the question, 'Do you find by a preponderance of the evidence that Pondimin was a producing cause of the injuries, if any, to Gail Roork?'
